Memorable Monday is a meme hosted by Escape in a Book where we share lovely quotes!

Today's quote is from Under the Never Sky!

“She absorbed the terror and beauty of him and his world. 

Of every moment over the past days. 

All of it, filling her up like the first breath she'd ever taken. 

And never had she loved life more.”

Many people are fans of this book but to be honest I didn't quite like it as much. Probably because I read  a whole slew of dystopian back then. But that quote was memorable and I'm looking forward to reading Through the Ever Night!

I also find the titles in this trilogy lyrical and gorgeous. Under the Never Sky, Through the Ever Night and finally Into the Still Blue. :)

Memorable Monday #1

I've been meaning to get this up a week ago but I forgot all about it in the flurry to finish my final 2 projects for the semester...Ibid Adobe Flash/stupid comic inking goodbye for the time being!  /o/

I now present my first Memorable Monday post! (a week late but hey at least it's a Monday! :P) This meme is hosted by Escape in a Book and it is to share quotes that we like. The quote I have to share is from The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater. This my first book by this author (I'm probably the only one who hasn't read the Wolves of Mercy Falls books) and  her writing really captivated me.

"A part of me prickles at that, and I realize, guiltily, that a tiny, tiny part of me, small enough to dissolve in a teacup or work a blister in a heel of a shoe, must've been daydreaming of that possibility."

There are a few other quotes that I like from the book but this is one of my favorites. It's not a particularly outstanding moment from the story but I really liked that sentence. Such a lovely way of  wording something so simple.
